This interactive event, facilitated by Gabrielle Marchetti, Principal Lawyer JobWatch Inc delivered crucial information on decoding a working contract. This was followed by an information session on student visas by Parth Patel and Kunal Verma, registered migration agents at Aussizz Migration and Education Consultants.
Project SASS delivered job readiness training in partnership Kate Naish, Head People and Impact Good Cycles Social Enterprise. This interactive workshop allowed students to practice their application writing skills. A panel discussion by Naishadh Gadani, ‘Unemployment Warrior’, Dr Jyothsna Rao and Cory Boardman also allowed participants to get detailed answers to common questions on the Australian workplace.
Project SASS hosted Leading Constable Ash Dixit of Victoria Police to deliver public and transport safety messages. This session was followed by COVID-19 safety and testing messages delivered by Heidi Michael Senior Advisor, Community Engagement and Testing team Department of Health and Human Services.
Project SASS was launched online, Key attendees included keynote speaker Ms Michelle Wade, Commissioner for South Asia, and guest speaker Mr Raj Kumar, Consul-General India.
